A representative from our business office will contact you prior to your procedure to discuss your insurance coverage and financial responsibilities to Northeast Surgery Center for the facility fees associated with your scheduled procedure. This conversation may cover co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance payments, etc. Please do not hesitate to ask for clarification on any of these matters during this phone conversation or at any time prior to your procedure. Please be advised, you may also receive a similar call from your surgeon’s office in regards to the actual surgeon fees for your scheduled procedure.
You will receive an easy to understand, all-inclusive bill for the services provided at Northeast Surgery Center. You can also expect a bill from your physician and a bill from the anesthesia provider. In the event of having any labs or specimens as part of your procedure, you may also receive a bill from the lab and pathologist.
For cataract patients who have chosen a specialty lens, these items are not covered by insurance carriers and aren’t billed to insurance carriers. The patient is solely responsible to pay for these lenses, and payment will be collected from you prior to the procedure.
Northeast Surgery Center proudly accepts most insurance plans. You will be responsible for any co-pays or deductibles. Northeast Surgery Center accepts cash, check, credit card and CareCredit. We also offer the option to pay bills online.
